Position: Assistant Treasurer (Temporary)

Role Overview: Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts is seeking a Treasurer for our concert halls. Reporting to the Head Treasurer, the Treasurer is a paramount member of Lincoln Center’s dedicated team responsible for assisting in the execution of all Box Office operations. In addition to facilitating sales and financial settlements, this role serves as a welcoming point of contact for Lincoln Center and provides exceptional customer service.

What You’ll Get to Do Here Ticketing- Utilize Tessitura ticketing system to issue tickets to the public and internal departments, generate reports, maintain ticket inventory and all holds, and complete final box office settlement report as assigned.
- Distribute will call tickets, re-issue tickets as needed, and complete ticket sales during pre‑event time.
- Follow proper cash handling procedures while completing sales and reconciling daily transactions, including credit cards and bank deposits.
- Adhere, communicate and reinforce Lincoln Center policies and procedures, as well as policies and procedures specific to the presenting constituent.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Interact with guests as a main point of contact for Lincoln Center.
- Assist guests with ticket purchase decisions, answer general ticketing and Lincoln Center campus questions, and address concerns, requests, and complaints.
- Exemplify guest excellence characteristics in all interactions with patrons, guests, and fellow co‑workers.
- Provide accurate information about an event or venue upon request, including directions, program or constituent organizations.
- Proven customer service experience.
- Experience with ticketing software.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and problem‑solve in a fast‑paced environment and adaptability to a changing environment.
- Flexible availability is a must, including being able to work during matinee, evening, and weekend performances.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
- Experience with Tessitura (ticketing system)
- Multilingual
