Copart, Inc. is a global online vehicle auction platform. The Title Specialist will be responsible for the daily processing of vehicle titles and ensuring compliance with state and local regulations.
Responsibilities- Process vehicle titles in accordance with state guidelines.
- Research missing or incorrect title paperwork and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Communicate with customers via email or verbally to handle title issues daily.
- Maintain file documentation and update customers on file status.
- Build relationships and develop a professional rapport with DMV personnel and sellers.
- Maintain title bin filing as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High‑school diploma.
- At least two years of customer service experience.
- One year of vehicle title processing experience.
- Computer proficiency, including MS Office Word/Office Suite.
- Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute.
- Basic 10‑key proficiency.
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet time‑sensitive deadlines.
- Capacity to multi‑task and work independently with little supervision.
- Ability to view a computer screen for a significant portion of the workday.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of local and surrounding state title regulations (preferred).
- Strong organizational and numeric/alphabetic filing skills.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Notary license preferred.
- Bilingual ability considered a plus.
Hourly pay ranges from $25.75 to $28.98.
