Responsibilities- Accurately complete everyday banking transactions on the teller line or via the platform.
- Open, close, and service personal deposit accounts and other banking products.
- Educate customers on TD products, services, and digital tools to help them achieve their financial goals.
- Provide consultative support, building trust with educational content, proactive insights, and recommendations.
- Identify and refer customers to the appropriate team member or internal bank partner as needed.
- Manage lead generation activities, including creating and managing self‑generated leads, receiving partner or retail leads, conducting outbound calls and SMS outreach, scheduling or hosting appointments, and prioritizing leads.
- Act as lobby leadership, serving as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, orchestrating walk‑in traffic, and resolving issues or scheduling specialist appointments.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory, policy, and procedural requirements, including the Bank Secrecy Act and the Patriot Act.
- Complete all required job‑specific and compliance‑related training, submit audit requests, and maintain accurate records.
- Operate cash drawers, maintain cash limits, secure cash to prevent loss, and follow open/close procedures.
- Perform custodial and operational responsibilities such as clerical tasks, data entry, and utility management in a fast‑paced environment.
- Work with a diverse team to meet operational, quality, and customer service goals.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience (volunteer, education, military, or other).
- Teller experience preferred.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills – concise, clear, and consistent.
- Demonstrated effective problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to schedule, prioritize, and work independently within deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Notary license preferred.
- Required to complete Teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hire.
The role involves regular sedentary work, frequent multitasking, occasional lifting of objects under 25 lbs., occasional reaching, and the use of standard office equipment. The position requires standing and walking roughly half the time, with occasional brief periods of bending, twisting, and concentrating for long periods.
