Tour Support Volunteer (Tall Ships) at Pier 15
Sail4th 250 will welcome large crowds to waterfront ship tour locations and public event areas. Tour Support Volunteers help create a safe, organized, and welcoming experience for visitors by assisting with navigation, visitor flow, and general guest support throughout the celebrations.
Volunteers will support operations on the piers and in surrounding public event areas. They will not serve onboard the tall ships, as ship crews are responsible for onboard tours and vessel operations.
What Will Volunteers Do?- Welcome visitors and provide a positive guest experience
- Share general event information and answer basic questions
- Assist with way finding and directions
- Help manage visitor flow in public areas
- Staff information and support locations as assigned
- Assist Sail4th staff with operational needs as they arise
Volunteers should wear their Sail4th 250 volunteer t-shirt during their shift and arrive prepared for outdoor conditions and extended periods of standing and walking.
Please bring:
- Fully charged mobile phone
- Comfortable, closed-toe shoes
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- Sunscreen and other sun protection as needed
- Any necessary personal medications
- A reusable water bottle
Small waist packs are permitted.
