Location: New York

Our client in Jamacia, NY is looking to add a Part-Time Bet Squad Lead to their team. This position is paying $17.00/hour and is a direct hire role. The typical report time is at 11:00AM and ends after the last race Thursdays to Sundays.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible to direct and oversee the daily operations in Bet squad located at Saratoga Racetrack. The Bet Squad Lead is responsible to monitor the performance of the Bet squad team and Beat Squad Lead to ensure a positive guest experience.
  • Responsible to handle escalated inquiries and to schedule staff. Aiding customers on how to sign up for a betting account. Create and maintain all wagering accounts. Identify financial, fraud or risk that an account may present.
  • Assisting customers by printing betting cards, resetting passwords and PIN for accounts.
  • Helping customers with deposit methods and other general questions.
  • Helping customers download mobile app/trouble shooting technical issues
  • Generate reports as needed
  • Process a variety of financial transactions
  • Maintain digital and physical files.
  • Handle customer inquiries including customer disputes and canceling of wagers
  • Assist customers on live chat and email
  • Report on hardware and software issues to the Service Desk
  • Provide support to our partners, customers and vendors
  • Teaching customers how to read a program, the different types of bets and how to make bets.
  • All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school Degree or Technical Certification
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in a customer service contact center or a customer service position
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Must obtain a NYS Gaming License
  • A self-motivated, resourceful, detail-oriented, and energetic personality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Strong computer proficiency including word and excel
  • Must be available to work on site during the live racing at Saratoga.
  • Good customer service orientation
  • Basic computer skills
  • Betting/NYRA Bets experience
