Chevrolet of Smithtown has an immediate opening for motivated team members in our fast growing, established Business Development Center. Previous success in a BDC Center or a Call Center is preferred but not necessary. Bilingual is also a big plus!! Strong base plus commission pay structure gives plenty of stability with excellent earning potential.

Duties

As an Automotive BDC Representative, you will be directly responsible for monitoring and following up with potential customer leads received via internet, phone, and visits to the dealership. Outstanding customer service skills are required.

  • Following and maintaining relationship with former customers
  • Monitoring and contacting internet leads
  • Determining each customer's vehicle needs by active listening
  • Learning, understanding, and following call, text and email scripts
  • Setting, confirming, and following up on appointments sales
  • Performing surveys with customers
  • Other duties as required

Requirements

  • Preferably a proven track record in BDC center or call center

  • Strong multi-tasking and organization skills
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Verifiable work history
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Strong English skills
