Location: Montrose
Spectrum Auto, a certified auto body and collision repair provider in West Nyack and Montrose, NY, is seeking a Customer Service Representative / Front Desk Manager to greet customers, answer phones and online inquiries, schedule appointments, coordinate workflow with insurers, and handle billing and payments. This role ensures a smooth, friendly, and organized front office experience aligned with our safety-first, integrity-driven mission.
Responsibilities- Greet customers upon arrival and provide a welcoming, professional front desk experience
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to online inquiries; provide information about services
- Schedule appointments, including coordinating times when insurance sends appointments
- Manage and maintain the service center’s daily and weekly schedule
- Follow up with customers regarding appointments, estimates, and repair status
- Process payments and handle cash/POS transactions accurately
- Maintain and update customer records
- Keep the customer service area clean, organized, and presentable
- Communicate clearly with customers, translating technical information as needed
- Support a quick, transparent, and stress-free customer experience consistent with company values
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven customer service skills with a friendly, professional, and empathetic demeanor
- Ability to listen to customer concerns and provide practical solutions
- Excellent organization and time management to handle appointments and a busy workflow
- Experience processing payments and handling cash/POS transactions
- Comfort using CRM or similar software to maintain accurate records
- Reliability and attention to detail to support scheduling and follow-ups
- Computer skills
