Location: New York

Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy is seeking a qualified, passionate Care Coordinator to join our Financial District teams. The Care Coordinator will work out of our Pine St and Wall St locations.

Responsibilities
  • Support patient care by making patients feel welcomed and valued while controlling the flow of appointments.
  • Respond to all phone calls and emails within 2 hours and always within 24 hours.
  • Guide patients through the out‑of‑network experience and greet all patients who enter the clinic with a smile.
  • Execute 5‑star customer service and foster a community environment for patients and team members.

Qualifications
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Hospitable, welcoming, and team-oriented
  • Strong communication skills and ability to multi‑task
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to grow
  • BA/BSc degree preferred, not required

Physical Requirements
  • Manual dexterity to manipulate office equipment and make written notations.
  • Ability to use computer keyboard 90% of each workday.
  • Hearing acuity to communicate over the telephone.
  • Visual acuity to read information on a computer screen.
  • The ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Occasionally lift 10 pounds from floor to waist.
