Location: New York

We are seeking a compassionate, professional, and highly organized Patient Liaison to join our team. This individual will serve as a key point of contact for patients and families, helping answer questions, address concerns, and ensure a positive overall experience. The ideal candidate must be fluent in Yiddish and English, possess exceptional customer service and communication skills, and be comfortable managing a high volume of phone interactions with empathy and professionalism.

This is an in-office position, with potential flexibility for a hybrid schedule after six months based on performance and operational needs.

Salary & Benefits
  • Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 annually

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and families via phone
  • Respond to questions, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide compassionate support and guidance to families navigating patient care services
  • Coordinate communication between families, staff, and departments as needed
  • Document interactions and maintain accurate records
  • Follow up on outstanding concerns to ensure resolution and satisfaction
  • Assist with administrative duties including scheduling, data entry, filing, and general office support
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
  • Help foster a welcoming, supportive, and service-oriented environment
Qualifications
  • Fluent in both Yiddish and English required
  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Previous experience in healthcare, customer service, patient relations, or administrative support preferred
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and empathetic in challenging situations
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer systems
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
