Overview

FRONT OF HOUSE - UPSCALE PATISSERIE

This is a full-time or part-time on-site role for a Client Service Specialist / Counter Service with a proactive, dynamic approach.

• Provide customers with a consistent, best-in-class experience from the moment they enter the shop to the moment they leave.
• Participate in French Pastry customer training and ensure accurate processing of transactions.
• Maintain inventory levels at all times and uphold a consistently clean and polished shop appearance.
• Take and fulfill special orders and manage online order fulfillment in a timely manner, while maintaining a high-touch presentation reflective of true French Pâtisserie luxury standards.

• High-touch client services, customer service, and communication skills. Candidates must genuinely enjoy people contact and thrive in a high-interaction environment.
• Ability to maintain a consistently high level of customer satisfaction and address or resolve customer complaints.
• Experience using POS systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask under pressure while remaining light-hearted, customer-focused, and engaged in the moment.
• Hands-on approach with a consistently high standard of cleanliness (wipe tables/banquette/outside terrace/pastry case/back counter) and clutter-free organization per upscale standards.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying business needs, tasks, and duties based on fluctuating day-to-day operations.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English;
  French is a plus.
• Experience in the food or hospitality industry is not required for a truly motivated candidate, but is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
