JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

18+ years old, required

High School diploma or GED (High school Equivalency Diploma), required

Valid Driver’s license required1+ year experience working with adults1 year minimum of community outreach

Bilingual – English/ Spanish preferred

Must have a commitment to work from a strength-based perspective

Must be culturally competent - ability to understand, be sensitive to the needs of, communicate with and effectively interact with people across cultures and age ranges

Must pass reference checks and background as designated by DOH, DOE, DYCD and UAUStrong verbal and written communication skills

Strong knowledge of excel, word, power point, social media platforms, email

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Demonstrated ability to conduct and complete work independently

Willing to take initiative and be flexible when needed & work flexible hours as needed

Incumbent will be scheduled based on operational need.

Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.

Position is in a well-lighted office environment.

May include travel to a variety of locations, based on departmental and organizational needs. Which is reimbursed in accordance with UAU’s fiscal policies and procedures. Also requires a reliable mode of transportation.

Working both indoors and outdoors (based on appropriate and safe weather conditions).Involves sitting approximately 50% of the day, walking or standing the remainder.

Must be able to remain in a stationary position for at least 20% of the time.

May include working prolonged periods of time standing and walking, about 95% of the day.

The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
