Overview

Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy is seeking a qualified, passionate Care Coordinator to join our team at our 70 Pine St clinic in the Financial District.

Care Coordinators support patient care by ensuring a welcoming and valued experience while controlling appointment flow. They must respond to all phone calls and emails within two hours, and always within 24 hours. Coordinators guide patients through the out‑of‑network experience and greet all visitors with a smile, consistently executing five‑star customer service. A collaborative spirit is valued to provide the care and support needed for patients and team members alike.

• Previous customer service experience.
• Hospitable, welcoming, and team‑oriented.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to multi‑task.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to grow.
• BA.BS degree preferred, not required.
• Exceptional patient service mindset.

• Manual dexterity to manipulate office equipment and make written notations.
• Ability to use a computer keyboard 90% of each workday.
• Hearing acuity to communicate over the telephone.
• Visual acuity to read information on a computer screen.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk for extended periods of time.
• Occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds from floor to waist.
