We are seeking experienced and customer-focused professionals for three open Claims Intake Representative/Specialist positions within a fast-paced Claims & Investigation environment. This role supports claims operations and intake activities with a strong emphasis on customer service, accuracy, organization, and communication.
This is a 6-month contract opportunity with potential for extension based on performance.

100% In-office - Hours:
7:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST working window, 8-hour shifts - Pay Rate: $33–40/hour

The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service and claims support, preferably within insurance, utilities, or telecommunications environments. Candidates should be highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to remain professional and effective under pressure while managing multiple responsibilities.
Responsibilities- Create entities, incidents, and matters within department systems
- Utilize databases, Outlook, PDF tools, Word, and Teams daily
- Respond to and document calls, emails, and correspondence from claimants, providers, and law firms
- Insurance claims, working on are Personal Injury, Property Damage, and Motor Vehicle. familiar with all 3 categories
- Follow up with external parties for missing or incomplete information
Save and organize documentation through electronic document systems - Notify investigators of new communications or documentation
- Link related claims and incidents
- Maintain and organize multiple department inboxes
- Route correspondence to appropriate teams and departments
- Review internal systems for claims information
- Assist with claims processing and other administrative support duties as needed
- 3+ years of experience in customer service, claims intake, call center support, or related fields
- Strong customer service background within the insurance sector preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong data entry and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Professional phone and written communication skills
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Utilities or telecommunications industry experience
- Analytical skills
- Call center experience
This role requires prolonged periods of sitting or standing while working at a computer and answering phones throughout the workday.
