Job Description:

GENERAL SUMMARY Services customers through various teller transactions. Provides customer service to retain and grow customer relationships. Cross-sells products and services and identifies business opportunities for referrals to appropriate personnel.

• Services customers through various teller transactions including, cashing checks, processing deposits and accepting various payments.
• Sells treasury checks, money orders, etc.
• Provides customer service to retain and grow customer relationships by acknowledging and greeting customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Responds to and follows through on customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Identifies customer products and service needs to enhance customer relationships while achieving the Banks financial goals by actively participating in all sales promotions.
• Identifies business opportunities and refers customers to appropriate personnel including Tioga State Investment Services, Commercial Loans, Mortgage Originators and Consumer Loans.
• Maintains an accurate cash drawer in accordance with balancing and cash handling standards.
• Produces accurate work documentation impacting other internal departments as well as external customers.
• Balances the vault and ATM machine(s).

• Maintains a thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of all bank consumer products and services.
• Maintains a knowledge of and adheres to all policies, procedures and regulations that govern the retail banking function.
• Maintains a working knowledge of all applicable software, systems and equipment.
• Participates as necessary to ensure that the office's daily responsibilities are met.
• Ensures supplies are replenished in a timely manner.
• Promotes a positive team environment by exhibiting the Bank's Core Values.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
