Employment Type: Temporary Assignment (4 Months) with Strong Potential for Permanent Employment
Compensation: $24/hour during temporary assignment | $45,000-$50,000 annually upon conversion
Our client, a mission-driven workforce development organization, is seeking a Career Pathways Ambassador to support program participants as they explore career goals, strengthen professional readiness, and connect to employment opportunities.
This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys building relationships, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring participants receive the support and resources necessary to succeed throughout their workforce development journey.
Key Areas of Impact Participant Engagement- Conduct outreach to current and prospective participants.
- Provide information regarding program services, schedules, and upcoming activities.
- Maintain consistent communication to encourage participant engagement and retention.
- Enter and maintain participant information within organizational databases.
- Scan, upload, and manage required documentation.
- Assist with program communications, mailings, and reporting requirements.
- Maintain accurate attendance and case management records.
- Manage incoming telephone inquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Serve as a resource for participant questions and concerns.
- Assist with workshop logistics and presentations, both virtually and in person.
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and welcoming environment.
- Support workforce development initiatives that promote long-term employment success.
- Contribute to participant achievement and overall program effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and administrative abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel between Bronx and Manhattan locations when needed.
- Prior experience in workforce development, nonprofit organizations, education, or social services.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.
- Administrative or program support experience.
- Experience working with diverse communities.
