Travel Consultant II– Chat

As a Chat Travel Consultant, you will provide outstanding customer service to Defense & Government travelers before, during, and after their business trips. Through our winning combination of outstanding people and innovative technology, we’re focused on ensuring that the travel experience of our customers is unforgettable from start to finish, for all the right reasons.

What You'll DoTravel plans change frequently. Here’s just some of what you could be doing each day Consulting with travelers via Chat so that you can recommend tailored resolutions to immediately meet their needs

Troubleshooting any customer travel issues via chat Assisting travelers by expertly booking and changing domestic and international flights, cars and hotels

Multi-tasking as you will be conducting multiple customer conversations simultaneously

Multi-account fast-paced environment

What We're Looking For3 or more years' experience working as a Travel Consultant Experience in GDS (Sabre) across both local and global marketsU.S. citizenship required due to Federal Government contractA genuine passion for high-quality customer service — we care about our customers and it’s important to us that you doGood verbal and written communication skills

Strong teamwork skillsA positive, “can do” attitude.

A flair for recognizing customer mood and tone through written communication and delivering extraordinary customer care to meet their requirements

Ability to fluently speak and write in English Computer skills are vital as you’ll be communicating with multiple customers whilst navigating different tools, all day, every day Resilience and composure to remain positive under pressure and manage your workload efficientlyA problem solver, you’ll be able to effectively evaluate issues and offer the best creative solutions with a view to resolving on the first contact

An eye for detail and accuracy

Strong time-management, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills as you will be handling several different customer inquiries simultaneously

High level of integrity to work with customer information and meet compliance requirements

The flexibility to work a shifting schedule

Operating hours 24 x 7. Must be flexible and prepared to work evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.

The US national base salary range for this position is from $ $39,200.00 - $72,800.00 Annually. The national range provided includes the base salary that the company expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
