Front Desk​/Reception Associate; Part-time, Weekends

Furoya is a new Japanese-style bathhouse and sauna opening in Greenwich Village (Union Square area), Manhattan, in October 2026. We're building our opening team — people who care about calm, attentive hospitality and a spotless environment.

We're hiring 2–3 weekend Front Desk / Reception Associates. You'll be the first face guests see: welcoming them, guiding them through the bathhouse experience, handling reservations and questions, supporting floor operations, and sharing guest feedback with the team.

Pay: $20/hr

Start:
Late October 2026 (opening scheduled for October 2026; subject to change with construction/permits)

• Welcome guests, explain the bathhouse flow and house rules
• Manage check-in, reservations, and guest inquiries (in person and by email)
• Handle issues calmly and escape when needed
• Support daily operations and closing procedures
• Share guest feedback and improvement ideas with the team

• Weekends only (Saturday and/or Sunday) — weekday shifts are already filled
• Fixed weekly schedule (same day/time each week), 1–2 days per week, 4–6 hours per shift
• One day only or peak-hours-only is welcome

• Friendly, polished communication in English (Japanese is a plus)
• Attention to cleanliness and detail; a team player
• Reliable and punctual; able to follow procedures consistently
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (students with valid work authorization welcome)
• Love of sauna, bathing culture, or wellness is a big plus
