Laundry Attendant Wanted - customer service - job employment

We are a full-service laundromat looking for a dependable, customer-focused individual to join our team. This position combines cleaning, customer service, and front-counter responsibilities to help ensure our customers have an excellent experience.

Schedule:

5 days a week

Hours:

12:30 PM – 9:00 PM (30-minute Lunch Break)

• Clean and maintain floors, folding tables, seating areas, restrooms, and customer spaces.
• Wipe down washers, dryers, soap dispensers, and machine surfaces.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Sweep, mop, and sanitize the facility throughout the shift.
• Clean lint traps, filters, and lint collectors.
• Organize laundry carts and keep the laundromat neat and presentable.
• Restock cleaning supplies and notify management when inventory is low.
• Report maintenance, equipment, or safety issues promptly.

• Assist customers with carrying laundry and locating available machines.
• Help customers understand and use our laundromat card system for operating washers and dryers.
• Answer questions and assist customers throughout the laundry process.
• Troubleshoot basic customer issues related to machine usage and payment cards.
• Provide friendly, professional service at all times.

• Accept wash-and-fold, laundry, and dry-cleaning orders.
• Enter customer orders accurately into our POS (Point of Sale) system.
• Tag and organize incoming orders.
• Process customer pickups and ensure completed orders are returned to the correct customer.
• Follow company procedures when inspecting and receiving garments.

• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Friendly and professional with strong customer service skills.
• Comfortable using a computer and learning a POS system.
• Ability to work independently and stay productive during slower periods.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30–40 lbs.
• Previous cleaning, hospitality, retail, laundromat, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
