The Lead Concierge supports the Program Services Coordinator by keeping the Concierge Desk running smoothly and serving as the primary point of contact for residents and visitors at 46th & Ten. This role exists to ensure a safe, organized, and responsive front-desk operation.

Key responsibilities include answering and routing calls; screening and directing building traffic while following COVID and security protocols; entering required screening data in Lobby Tracks; receiving and distributing packages, mail, and supplies; monitoring fire/emergency panels and coordinating with the Manager on Duty and responders; completing required logs and reports (census, incident, shift events, escorts); preparing the monthly Concierge schedule for review;

maintaining resident emergency contact sheets; assisting with transportation coordination; escalating concerns to the appropriate Department Head; addressing minor building issues; and keeping the lobby orderly by initiating service requests.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma and 3+ years of related experience
  • Strong customer service, communication, organization, and sound judgment
A Typical Shift

You start by reviewing desk communications, confirming coverage needs, and ensuring the lobby area is ready for the day. As activity picks up, you balance multiple priorities-supporting residents and guests with clear, courteous communication while keeping records current and documentation accurate. Throughout the shift, you maintain steady situational awareness, respond calmly to unexpected interruptions, and coordinate promptly with on-site leadership when an issue requires escalation.

You also set aside focused time to reconcile daily paperwork, update posted information, and prepare items that keep upcoming schedules and desk operations on track. Before handoff, you verify key notes are captured so the next shift has a clean, informed transition.

Salary: $25.01 - $28.14 per hour
