About the Role
We’re searching for a personable dental hygienist to join our talented team of healthcare providers! You’ll welcome patients and conduct their initial screenings, perform thorough dental cleanings, and help dentists with examinations and procedures. Responsibilities- Remove plaque and apply fluoride or other sealants to prevent cavities and tooth decay
- Perform preliminary dental examinations to get an overview of the patient’s oral health history for the dentist
- Advise patients on how to properly care for their teeth after a procedure or operation
- Sterilize all dental equipment to make sure everything is properly cleaned
- Create dental impressions of patients’ teeth so veneers, mouthguards, etc. can be made correctly
- Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings to ensure patients leave with a bright, healthy smile.
- Perform initial patient screenings and gather detailed dental health histories.
- Collaborate with dentists during examinations and procedures to provide seamless patient care.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices to empower them in maintaining their dental health.
- Utilize dental technology and tools efficiently to deliver top-notch careli>
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records to ensure continuity of care.
- Monitor and restock dental supplies to keep our practice running smoothly and efficiently.
- Utilize cutting-edge technology, including Biolase Epic Hygiene Laser for pocket therapy and bacterial reduction, as well as Itero for scanning and maintaining patients' dental health.
- Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills
- Physical stamina to stand for up to 8 hours at a time
- Clear understanding and commitment to following HIPAA regulations and all safety guidelines
- At least 1-2 years of experience in dental hygiene
- Possesses a state license to practice dental hygiene
$120,000 - $140,000 yearly
