Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) at Confidential Dental Practice summary:
Duties for our Dental Assistant Include:
- Welcome patients in the dental office
- Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
- Obtain diagnostic quality xrays
- Helpful if experienced with Digital Impressions- will train
- Ability to obtain accurate impressions with Alginate and assist Doctor with PVS
- Understanding and follows OSHA and HIPPA requirements
- Implant Knowledge :
Straumann, Zimmer and Bio Horizon- a plus! - Experience with Aligner Therapy
- Some Lab work
- Maintain Organized and clean work enviroment
- Inventory Control-supply ordering
- Comfortable discussing treatment with patients
- Digital Clinical notes used
- $29-$35/hour
