Bassett Healthcare Network is a progressive, academic health system in central New York, and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University. Bassett’s integrated health care system provides care and services to people living in an eight county region covering 5,600 square miles in Central New York. The organization includes five corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school- based health centers, and health partners in related fields.

The network includes three locations where our dental team provides general and advanced dentistry services for both children and adults. Our dental care team is made up of exceptional dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and an oral surgeon. Preventative and tele-dental services are also provided at 21 School-Based Health Centers sites across four counties.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Join an established group of general dentists, hygienists and oral surgeon.
• Applicants must possess outstanding communication and documentation skills, be able to function both independently and as part of a team, and be competent in all aspects of general dentistry, including behavior management for children and special needs patients.
• EPIC Wisdom integrated medical-dental records, digital radiography
• Minimal evening and weekend phone call shared among network dentists
• Group Employed Model

Job Qualifications:

• DMD/DDS
• NYS Licensure

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary Range: $174,736 - $189,785. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
• Sign-On Bonus up to $100,000
