Manager – Healthcare Consulting

We are seeking a Manager to join our consulting team. As a Manager, you will lead teams in addressing strategic challenges for leading healthcare providers, including hospitals, health systems, and academic medical centers. You will guide the development of innovative strategies, growth initiatives, and transformative partnerships that shape the future of healthcare.

• Lead problem structuring, analysis, and synthesis.
• Lead the development of hypotheses that help clients solve their innovation‑related business challenges.
• Develop and execute a detailed work plan for the entire project.
• Seamlessly shift gears and constantly reset the team’s direction with frequently‑changing client needs.
• Oversee qualitative and quantitative research efforts of the team.
• Develop end‑to‑end documents with logical storyline and flow.
• Interact closely with client teams.
• Prepare and own development of all client deliverables.
• Lead client meetings, including presentation of key insights.
• Contribute directly to business and firm development.
• Work closely with principals and partners to support business development efforts.
• Actively manage the individual professional development of junior employees.

• Extensive experience as an external management consultant with a top consulting firm, specializing in delivering strategic solutions for healthcare provider organization clients.
• Proven leadership in engagements involving enterprise‑level strategic planning, growth strategy, service line strategy, M&A and strategic partnerships/alliances, margin expansion, cost optimization, and related initiatives for healthcare provider clients.
• Deep healthcare provider industry expertise with hands‑on experience serving a variety of client organizations such as hospital systems, academic medical centers, ambulatory surgery centers, integrated delivery networks, and physician groups/practices.
• Strong quantitative and business analysis acumen; ability to integrate diverse information and apply flexible global concepts.
• Exceptional engagement delivery: demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, generate clear work plans, and lead junior employees; consistently produce high‑quality deliverables.
• Excellent communication skills: adept at crafting proposals, presentations, workshops and coaching teams to visualize complex information.
• Talent development skills: mentor, coach and advance talented people to build an effective organization.

• Travel:
  Willingness to travel weekly (up to 80%) is required; location can be anywhere within the contiguous 48 states and near a major airport.
• Compensation:
  Base salary range $190,000 – $220,000; total estimated compensation $237,500 – $275,000.
