We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Associate Dentist to provide care and support for the organization's Saturday clinic.

As an Associate Dentist, you will provide high‑quality preventive, restorative, and emergency dental care to both children and adults in a fast‑paced Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) environment. You will play a key role in improving oral health outcomes while supporting patient education, team development, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide routine and emergency dental services, including diagnosis, treatment planning, oral examinations, restorative procedures, crown and bridge work, removable prosthetics, uncomplicated endodontics, and minor oral surgery
- Initiate and interpret diagnostic x‑rays and laboratory studies
- Administer and prescribe anesthetics, medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate
- Refer patients to specialty providers and other care services when indicated
- Educate patients and families on oral health, disease prevention, and treatment options
- Direct, coordinate, and supervise the clinical activities of Dental Assistants and Dental Hygienists
- Collaborate with medical, behavioral health, and dental providers in an integrated care setting
- Support clinic quality, productivity, and patient satisfaction initiatives
- Participate in staff training, community health promotion, and safety/compliance programs
- Partner with the Chief Dental Officer to support clinic productivity, scheduling, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, local, and organizational regulations, policies, and safety standards
- DDS or DMD degree from an ADA‑accredited dental school
- Current, valid, and unrestricted California Dental License
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental practice experience
- Current DEA registration and CPR certification (BCLS/ACLS)
- Experience treating both pediatric and adult patients
- Proficiency with Electronic Dental Records (EDR/EHR)
- Strong clinical, communication, leadership, listening, and customer service skills
- Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or community health center setting
- Experience with Next Gen EDR

- Quickly adapt to clinic workflows and Electronic Dental Record (EDR) systems
- Maintain a full patient schedule of approximately 15+ patients per 8‑hour day
- Consistently achieve established quality and productivity benchmarks
