Job TitleDental Assistant — Full-Time Licensed Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our high-performing clinical team.
Responsibilities- Perform sterilization procedures in accordance with OSHA and established clinical guidelines
- Prepare precise tray setups for orthodontic procedures
- Obtain diagnostic records including X-rays, intra-oral scans, photos, and impressions
- Accurately enter clinical notes in patient records
- Provide direct patient care under the direct supervision of a licensed dentist
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment instructions
- Fabricate Essix retainers and complete basic lab duties
- Prepare and document lab cases to ensure timely delivery
- Maintain operatory cleanliness and clinical readiness at all times
This role requires discipline, reliability, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. The position supports clinical efficiency and safe, high-quality patient care.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- Dental Assistant licensure, as required by applicable state regulations
- Minimum 1 year of dental experience
- Knowledge of dental terminology, techniques, and procedures
- Strong attendance record and dependable reliability
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Clear communication and professional demeanor
- Orthodontic experience
- Experience with digital scanning technology
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development
We operate in a patient-centered model. Many of our patients are children and working adults, so peak demand occurs after school, after work, and on some Saturdays. Local travel between offices may be required.
CompensationPay range starting at $25.00 per hour. Final offer determined by experience, qualifications, and license. High performers have clear opportunities for advancement.
