Provider Dentist

Job Description

Urban Health Plan’s Dental Department seeks a General Dentist to provide comprehensive dental services to patients in our community health centers located in the Bronx, Queens, and Manhattan. The dentist will diagnose, treat, and educate patients while collaborating with staff to ensure efficient and quality health care delivery.

• Perform diagnostic and treatment services in accordance with accepted standards of professional practice.
• Explain procedures and treatments to patients.
• Collaborate with other staff members to deliver efficient and high-quality health care.
• Maintain open communication channels to enhance the functioning of the health center.
• Perform additional duties as required by departmental needs or demands.

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Board eligible or certified in Dentistry.
• Valid New York State dental license with BLS and PALS certification.
• Understanding of and passion for community healthcare is preferred.
