We are looking for a motivated, relationship-oriented Full Desk Recruiter & Client Success Manager to support our pathology permanent placement and locum tenens staffing services. This position combines talent acquisition, client relationship management, and operational coordination to ensure exceptional matches between healthcare facilities and highly qualified locum pathologists.

In this role, you will manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing candidates to onboarding them, while serving as the primary point of contact for both candidates and clients.

This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving logistical challenges, and working in a fast-paced healthcare staffing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source, identify, and recruit board-certified/anatomic & clinical pathologists for locum assignments.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified pathology candidates using job boards, professional networks, outreach campaigns, and referrals.
  • Conduct screening interviews to assess experience, subspecialty skills (e.g., dermatopathology, hematopathology, cytology, GI, GU), availability, and site preferences.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS/CRM.
Client Success & Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary contact for healthcare facilities, labs, and pathology groups seeking locum coverage.
  • Understand client needs, caseload details, turnaround expectations, and required subspecialty experience.
  • Provide candidate recommendations that align with client requirements and timelines.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding for both clients and providers, including travel, scheduling, and communication.
  • Conduct regular check-ins to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues.
  • Track client performance metrics and identify opportunities for service improvement.
Operations & Coordination
  • Manage contract execution, assignment logistics, and schedule confirmations.
  • Work with travel coordinators or internal teams to arrange flights, lodging, and transportation for locum providers.
  • Monitor assignment progress; handle extensions, replacements, and urgent coverage requests.
  • Ensure compliance with state licensure, malpractice coverage requirements, and facility protocols.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in physician staffing or locum tenens.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology; pathology knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple open roles and assignments simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms, CRM systems, and online sourcing tools (Linked In, job boards, etc.).
