Job Details
Job Type: Full‑Time. Salary: $24–$28 per hour (based on experience and certification).
Responsibilities- Work directly with the Prosthodontist to assist in advanced dental procedures, particularly dental implant treatments.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, ensuring strict infection control standards.
- Provide chair‑side assistance during procedures, anticipate the dentist’s needs, and keep the treatment area clear and organized.
- Make patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit.
- Take dental X‑rays, process radiographs, and assist with radiographic imaging.
- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations.
- Educate patients on post‑operative care and general oral hygiene.
- Support the prosthetic team with inventory management, lab coordination, and record‑keeping.
- Perform office tasks such as scheduling appointments, receiving patients, maintaining records, and ordering supplies.
- Collaborate with other clinical staff—including oral surgeons, hygienists, and Patient Education Consultants—to ensure exceptional care.
- Assist in specialized areas such as oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthodontics.
- Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements.
- 2+ years of previous experience in a dental assisting role.
- Prior experience with dental implants or prosthodontics is highly desirable.
- Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle dental instruments with precision.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication and patient‑care skills.
- Comfortable with radiographic equipment and digital dental technology.
