Interim Dental Assistant for the months of December 2025 and January 2026
DescriptionWe are seeking a Dental Assistant/Floor Runner to join our friendly practice in Riverdale, NY on an interim base, leading to a permanent position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the dentist and the head assistant ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office.
Job duties include:
- Greet patients and visitors with a welcoming demeanor
- Assist dentist with all dental procedures
- Set up operatories and clean up
- Take digital x-rays
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office's calendar
- Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning and date entry
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Experience:
Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
