Full-Time Dentist OpportunityLocation: Brooktondale, NY 14817
The New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) is seeking a dedicated Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care to youth within a secure residential setting. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the health and well-being of underserved patients while maintaining a predictable schedule and excellent work-life balance.
Position Highlights- Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
- Start Date: September 1, 2026
- Duration: 26-week assignment with potential extensions up to 2 years
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week (4x10 schedule may be available)
- No Call Requirements
- Patient Volume: Approximately 6-14 patients per day
- Patient Population: Youth ages 16-26
- Practice Scope: General dentistry, preventive care, dental cleanings, oral health assessments, treatment planning, and patient education
- Pay Rate: $135-$160/hour Based on experience
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
- Active New York Dental License (NY licensed candidates only)
- DEA Registration
- BLS Certification
- Minimum of 1 year of dental practice experience preferred
- Ability to meet all federal, state, and facility compliance requirements
