Role:
Dental Assistant in Oral Surgery department.
Responsibilities:- Assist dental residents and students during surgical procedures
- administer IV sedation
- monitor patients
- prepare dental castings
- dispense medications
- and handle minor dental and surgical tasks
- Ensure safe handling of chemicals and hazardous materials
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience
- graduate of a Dental Assistant Training Program
- knowledge of four-handed chairside techniques and dental lab equipment
- with 1-2 years of oral surgery and anesthesia experience preferred
- Certification is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills
- ability to operate standard office equipment
- familiarity with dental procedures and anesthesia
- Providing oral surgical assistance
- patient monitoring
- assisting with sedation
- supporting dental procedures
- Competitive pay ($27-32/hr)
