SmilesNY is a cosmetic dental practice located in the New York City Metropolitan area. Our team of dental professionals utilizes advanced techniques and technology to provide patients with beautiful, confident smiles. From non-invasive treatments such as teeth whitening to our specialty procedure, Smile Design, we offer a wide variety of services to enhance several smile features simultaneously.
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Dental Assistant. Mon-Thurs (32 hours). The Dental Assistant will be responsible for assisting the dentist during procedures, sterilization of equipment, and providing oral care education to patients.
Qualifications- Four handed dentistry
- Ability is use 3-shape
- Knowledge of Itero
- Experience with Dentrix & Dexis
- Imaging/photos is a plus
- Sterilization knowledge and experience
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent on-the-job training
- Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification is a plus
