DescriptionNYU College of Dentistry seeks a dynamic clinician-educator to teach post-doctoral students in the diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery of digitally driven restorative dentistry.
The successful candidate will bring current chairside experience across the complete digital workflow, including intraoral scanning, facial scanning and digital smile design, CAD/CAM design in Exocad or equivalent platforms, 3D printing and milling workflows, guided implant surgery and implant restoration, and removable prosthodontics. Experience with dynamic jaw motion capture, digital occlusion, and laboratory communication in a fully digital workflow is highly desirable.
Beyond chairside supervision, the candidate will contribute to the didactic and hands-on components of the program, supporting fellows as they develop competence in digital design, treatment planning, and case documentation. Familiarity with implant education frameworks such as the ITI Academy curriculum is an asset.

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the salary for this part-time is $43K. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
QualificationsCandidates must possess a DDS or DMD degree and a New York State Dental License. Knowledge of prosthodontic laboratory and digital procedures and evidence of previous teaching experience (academia or industry) are required. Demonstrated proficiency with digital design software and additive or subtractive manufacturing workflows is strongly preferred. Postgraduate training in prosthodontics, operative dentistry, or a related discipline is an asset.
