Smile New York Outreach, a school‑based mobile dental practice, is seeking a Dental Assistant Team Leader in Bronx, NY and surrounding areas to help provide dental care to underserved children at their schools. Our program offers a school‑day schedule with no nights or weekends, making it ideal for people looking for a diverse working environment, working parents, and anyone who wants to make a difference in the dental field.

• Dental Assistant certification (preferred, but not required)
• CPR certification card
• Experience as a Dental Assistant
• Experience with Digital X‑rays
• Experience with patient charting (paper forms, charting tooth surfaces)
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to schools within the boroughs
• Works well with children
• Team player and able to work on a small team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Dental assisting services during mobile dental clinics
• Digital X‑ray imaging
• Patient records charting
• Equipment set‑up, breakdown, and sterilization assistance
• Travel daily to and from school sites

• Evenings, weekends, and summer days off
• School‑day schedule (approximately 6–7 hours; 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.)
