Registered Dental Hygienist

Monday through Thursday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Pay
: $55- $60/hr

: 3 months, Possible Extension

Requirement
:

• Valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist issued by NYSED
• 1+ Years of Experience
• Follow the prescription of a licensed dentist and perform patient health history assessments.
• Perform oral health assessments, oral cancer screening, head and neck inspection, dental charting, and vital signs.
• Perform dental hygiene exams, treatment planning, periodontal charting, and intra-oral assessments.
• Take and upload digital dental imaging and perform periodontal scaling and root planing.
• Remove calculus, biofilm/plaque, and stains; apply fluoride, sealants, and subgingival prescription drugs.
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide/oxygen sedation as needed.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and nutrition; prepare instruments for sterilization, maintain infection control, and assist dentists chairside.
