Dental hygienist

• $50 - $60 per hour
• Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

• License & Certification:
  Licensed dental hygienist
• Licensure:
  Must hold a valid New York State Dental Hygiene License.
• Technical Proficiency:
  Experience with Eaglesoft or Epic software is highly preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Previous experience in Pediatric Dentistry is a significant plus.
• Soft Skills:
  
  Excellent communication skills and a gentle chairside manner.
• Logistics:
  Must be able to reliably commute to the Morris Park area of the Bronx.

• Clinical Excellence:
  Perform prophylaxis, scaling and root planing (SRP), and polishing.
• Diagnostics & Assessment:
  Take high-quality X-rays, perform periodontal charting, review medical histories, and conduct intraoral exams.

  Counsel patients on personalized oral hygiene and the connection between oral health and systemic wellness.
• Advanced Care:
  Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide (requires state certification).
• Documentation:
  Maintain precise electronic health records using Eaglesoft and Epic.
• Team Support:
  Assist the dentist during procedures and strictly follow OSHA and HIPAA infection control protocols.
