Role Description

As a Junior Interior Designer, you will work closely with our senior team across all phases of residential projects - from early concept through documentation, sourcing, and installation. You will provide essential technical and organizational support while building a strong foundation in the design process and execution of thoughtfully detailed interiors.

This position offers meaningful exposure within a small, collaborative studio environment and the opportunity to grow long-term within the practice.

Responsibilities
  • Support design development, including concept work, mood boards, and client presentations
  • Assist with space planning, furniture layouts, and material selections
  • Prepare technical drawings and documentation in AutoCAD (plans, elevations, and details)
  • Aid in sourcing furniture, lighting, finishes, and custom materials
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, consultants, and project specialists
  • Assist with specifications, schedules, and procurement requirements
  • Support project installations and on-site work as needed
  • Maintain organization of project files, sample libraries, and incoming/outgoing materials
Qualifications
  • Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
  • Professional experience preferred, though early-career candidates with a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is required
  • Strong design sensitivity and attention to detail
  • Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset
What We Offer

  • Mentorship and close collaboration within a growing studio
  • Opportunity to develop both technically and creatively
  • A thoughtful, design-focused work environment in New York City
