We are seeking a versatile and team-oriented Architect in the Architectural Group at our Endwell, NY office. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture with 10 years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s Degree in Architecture with 15 years of relevant experience. Experience with Revit is mandatory. A Registered Architect (RA) license is required. The primary duties for this position include:
Responsibilities- Assisting the Project Architect with client/project coordination and project management.
- Coordinating construction document preparation with supervision by the Project Manager, including analyzing building/zoning codes, outlining document contents with half-size sets and specification outline, reviewing design intent and material coordination, coordinating with consultants, coordinating with building inspectors, responding to bid inquiries, and preparing contract document agenda.
- Providing assistance in construction administration under the supervision of the Project Manager, including reporting on progress meetings, maintaining project status manuals, preparing project correspondence, conducting on-site observations, preparing observation reports, handling proposal requests, change orders or revisions to scope, and reviewing submittals.
- Assisting with project close-out efforts including punch lists.
- Meeting with governmental agencies or officials for approvals and permits.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture with 10 years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s Degree in Architecture with 15 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Revit is mandatory.
- Registered Architect (RA) license required.
Hiring Salary Range: $82,000-$100,000 (salary to be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, along with internal equity and market data).
