Role Overview

The Account Director is the senior day-to-day owner of client relationships and always-on creator programs, accountable for strategic direction, delivery excellence, and overall account performance. Operating at the intersection of strategy, execution, and leadership, this role ensures creator partnerships are thoughtfully planned, seamlessly executed, and commercially sound.

The Account Director oversees accounts end-to-end—setting direction, leading cross-functional teams, managing complexity, and serving as a trusted partner to senior brand stakeholders. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with deep fluency in creator ecosystems who can confidently lead strategy, guide performance, and run an account with clarity and rigor. Working closely with the Head of Operations and the CEO, this role helps drive operational efficiency, strengthen client retention, and ensure programs scale effectively while maintaining a high bar for quality and performance.

What

You’ll DoOwn client relationships & account health
  • Serve as the senior point of contact for assigned clients, building long-term trust and strategic partnership.
  • Lead account planning, quarterly reviews, and ongoing performance conversations.
  • Anticipate client needs, identify opportunities to grow scope, and proactively solve challenges.
Oversee always-on creator programs
  • Lead the strategic and operational execution of creator programs across planning, casting, briefing, production, posting, and reporting.
  • Ensure creator output aligns with brand goals, platform best practices, and performance benchmarks.
  • Oversee creator events, trainings, and in-person activations when relevant.
Lead and manage account teams
  • Directly and indirectly manage Account Managers, Strategists, and cross-functional partners.
  • Set clear priorities, timelines, and expectations for delivery.
  • Provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship to elevate team performance.
Ensure operational excellence
  • Partner closely with Operations to ensure programs are resourced, scoped, and delivered efficiently.
  • Maintain oversight of timelines, budgets, contracts, and approvals.
  • Identify risks early and course-correct before they impact delivery or client trust.
Strategic thinking & reporting
  • Translate performance data into insights clients actually understand and value.
  • Guide reporting narratives and recommendations, not just outputs.
  • Stay current on creator trends, platform shifts, and industry best practices to inform strategy.
What You Bring
  • 8–10+ years of experience in influencer/creator marketing, account leadership, or social-first agencies.
  • Deep understanding of creator planning, content workflows, and platform dynamics (Tik Tok, Instagram, You Tube, podcasts, etc.).
  • Proven experience managing complex, always-on accounts with multiple work streams.
  • Strong people leadership skills — you know how to run a team and bring others along.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure.
  • Comfortable balancing strategy, operations, and execution without losing the plot.
  • Passion for creators, culture, and how internet-native content drives real brand impact.
