Captain, Architect ​/ Sr. Architect, Design & Architecture

Your Role

Work with a team of architects in bringing design dreams to life as a Gensler Job Captain. Produce technical documentation and communicate project progress with the lead architect and other team members to ensure our projects exceed client expectations.

• Partner with Project Architect to produce accurate technical and contract documentation for construction of project
• Provide project team coordination for incorporating design intent into the construction documentation
• Participate in construction administration, evaluate bids, conduct site visits, address technical issues, and maintain quality control during construction
• Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives
• Utilize hand and 3D software renderings to communicate design concepts

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited program
• 1-3 years of professional experience post-graduation
• Knowledge of building codes, zoning, jurisdictional processes, building materials, specifications, and construction techniques preferred
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Proficient in Revit, Enscape, other 3D modeling software

** The base salary range will be estimated between $70-$76k plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.**
