Packaging Sourcing Associate

• Follow up with designers/merchandisers on developments of packaging design/structure.
• Communicate information on materials and packaging design with suppliers to get proto samples and negotiate prices.
• Review and give comments / approval for the packaging samples.
• Follow workflow and sign-off protocols.
• Work with Quality Control and legal to understand warning labels and other legal packaging requirements.
• Organize packaging details with prices information by customers, enter data in PLM, and communicate the information to cross-functional teams and overseas offices/factories.
• Provide updates on all projects to the Manager.

• 3+ years in packaging sourcing/development experience.
• Ability to work independently.
• Expert skills in Microsoft Word / Excel and Adobe CC.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Detail orientated and strong organizational skills.

Salary offered will be commensurate with experience. For this New York based position, the expected base salary is $30.00 - $34.00/hour.
