Part-Time Junior Designer - Home Stager / Visual Merchandiser.

New York, NY (Must be NYC-based with ability to travel to Hudson Valley Headquarters).

PART-TIME

An ambitious (PART-TIME) entry level/junior stylist with a strong interest in interior design, visual merchandising, and or real estate staging. You’re dependable, organized, ready to roll up your sleeves, and eager to learn from top-tier professionals in a high-paced, high-style environment. Candidates with a background in interior styling and visual merchandising will receive elevated consideration.

This isn’t a desk job—you’ll be out in the field conducting walk-throughs with real estate agents, pulling inventory, completing pick sheets, and participating in live installations. If you’re looking for real-world experience with a respected, nationally recognized design firm, then this opportunity is for you!

• Have studied Interior Design, Home Products, Visual Merchandising, or a related field.
• Have strong organizational and communication skills.
• Are excited to be hands-on on job sites, in the warehouse, and at staging installs.
• Can take direction but also work independently and show initiative.
• Work well under pressure in a team-based environment.
• Live in New York City and can travel to the Hudson Valley 1–2 times a week as needed. (Required for consideration)
• Have basic skills in furniture handling, accessory placement, or layout execution.
• Bonus:
  Experience in visual merchandising or styling (especially in home decor).

• Conduct property walkthroughs with real estate agents to assess design and staging needs.
• Complete pick sheets and pull inventory from our curated warehouse.
• Participate in staging installations and setups in luxury homes and short-term rentals.
• Style spaces using furniture, accessories, and artwork.
• Contribute to a fast-moving, team-driven creative environment.
