We’re seeking a UX/UI Designer to own all design execution across This role combines both UX (User Experience) and UI (User Interface) design, where you’ll focus on understanding user needs, crafting user journeys, and bringing them to life through on-brand and functional design solutions. You’ll join our growing ecommerce team and collaborate closely with the Art Director and creative team to ensure a cohesive, branded, user-centered design approach.
This role is based in our New York Headquarters 5 days a week.
Responsibilities:- Own the development & creation of new site pages and modules, including wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts and user interactions.
- Develop UX roadmap to identify UX and CRO issues and propose thoughtful, scalable solutions. Design AB tests to identify winning designs to drive ongoing performance improvement.
- Create adaptable designs that provide optimal user experiences across a variety of devices, including desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Leverage creative assets to design site components that align with brand and ecommerce briefs.
- Plan and conduct usability testing to validate design solutions and make necessary adjustments based on user feedback.
- Regularly review site & consumer data to inform design decisions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (design, developers, brand, and marketing) to define project goals, technical constraints, and ensure designs are feasible and aligned with overall brand vision.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems & processes, ensuring consistency in application & evolution.
- Investigate the consumer journey to identify areas of opportunity and understand why KREWE visitors do or don’t convert
- Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and campaign concepts
- Maintain Ecomm Guidelines and Component Library to ensure shared understanding of site design principles across teams and roles.
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio of user‑centered projects.
- Expertise in mobile, tablet, and desktop design best practices.
- Strong proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma).
- Solid understanding of user‑centered design, usability testing, and accessibility standards.
- Solid understanding of how to interpret A/B testing, conversion, heat map, and critical path data.
- Excellent visual design skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Shopify Plus
- Experience with front‑end technologies (HTML/CSS) is a huge plus.
- Experience with animation or motion design is a bonus.
