Location: New York

Our Client is seeking a Product Designer to join their Enterprise Data team, supporting the creation of high‑quality, scalable design work across our global product ecosystem.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with design, product, and engineering partners — many of whom are US based, requiring comfort with virtual collaboration and cross‑communication. You will contribute to foundational design tasks, maintain reusable design assets, support internal design standards, and ensure consistency across experiences.

At times, you will work on quick‑turnaround projects, so a proactive mindset and strong organizational habits are essential.

As you grow in the role, you will have the opportunity to expand into more complex design initiatives gaining exposure to end‑to‑end product design processes, research insights, and enterprise‑level design operations.

Role Responsibilities
  • Elevate the overall quality of UX/UI design across digital experiences for Enterprise Data Platforms team.
  • Operate as a hybrid researcher–designer, rapidly moving between discovery and vision prototyping to define and evolve the developer portal experience.
  • Translate user insights and business requirements into clear problem statements, hypotheses, and validated design solutions.
  • Partner closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other stakeholders to align on goals and define experience strategy.
  • Facilitate and participate in cross‑functional workshops and discovery exercises.
  • Ideate and prototype at both low and high fidelity to rapidly explore and test concepts.
  • Develop Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) to validate ideas and iterate based on feedback and data.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, journey maps, service blueprints, and high‑fidelity prototypes using Figma.
  • Design scalable, cohesive solutions across complex workflows and interconnected platform features.
  • Leverage and contribute to the Design System, ensuring consistency, usability, and adherence to brand and accessibility standards.
  • Present work regularly to design leadership and cross‑functional teams to gather feedback and drive alignment.
  • Mentor associate designers and actively contribute to strengthening design craft and culture across the team.
  • Advocate for user‑centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in UX, product, or interaction design.
  • Demonstrated experience owning end‑to‑end design work, from discovery and research through high‑fidelity execution and delivery.
  • Proven ability to operate as a full‑stack designer, comfortably shifting between research, strategy, interaction design, and visual execution.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing complex design solutions and a clear articulation of the design process, including research, ideation, validation, and final outcomes.
  • Hands‑on experience planning and conducting qualitative user research and usability testing.
  • Experience designing enterprise‑grade, data‑rich, or workflow‑heavy applications.
  • Strong systems thinking skills and ability to design across interconnected products or features.
  • Proficiency in Figma, including component libraries, auto layout, prototyping, and responsive design practices.
  • Strong foundation in interaction design, information architecture, visual hierarchy, layout systems, and accessibility best practices.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate design rationale to diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex information into intuitive, user‑centered solutions.
  • Experience working in agile or lean product development environments.
  • Self‑starter with strong time management skills and the ability to balance independent work with cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning and advocating for user‑centered design
