**** SOM is a global collective of talented and passionate people―help us understand what you would bring to the table. Complete applications must include Resume or CV and Work Samples. Work Samples shall be one PDF attachment, 10-20 pages, maximum 5 MB. Submit Work Samples as part of your application in the section where the application asks for your Resume or CV.

**** Position Responsibilities
***** Develop enclosure design concepts, systems, and strategies that are consistent with both project-specific and firmwide objectives under supervision of senior facade specialist
* Assist and develop detailed drawings, specifications, and 3D models for building envelopes.
* Investigate building materials, codes, and industry standards
* Researching materials, conducting code compliance checks, and assisting with site investigations, with a focus on sustainable and durable building science.
**** Minimum Qualifications
***** Professional degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or Building Science.
* Proficiency in Rhino, Grasshopper, AutoCAD, and Revit.
* Strong interest in building science, sustainability, and construction technology.
* Experience in 3D modeling/drafting including Grasshopper, BIM, etc.
* Programming experience is a strong plus.
* Demonstrated interest in Building Enclosure design.
* Familiar with enclosure assembly analysis (Window Glass Design, THERM, Mepla or Finite Element Analysis) is desired.
* Demonstrates awareness of latest industry wide initiatives, technologies and processes in the A/E/C community.
