About the role

We are seeking a motivated architectural professional that enjoys leading teams, managing projects from early planning through construction administration for hospitality projects . In this role, you will lead multiple projects through all phases of design and construction, ensuring quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate is proactive, autonomous, with a strong design judgement and values collaboration, leadership, mentorship and client relationships.

What you'll do

  • Manage high-end hospitality projects with demonstrated experience across all phases
  • Monitor the design process from the conceptual phase through construction administration and guiding junior staff while maintaining design intent
  • Demonstrate confidence in engaging with high-profile clients, consultants, and contractors across all stages of project development and maintaining active communication on project progress
  • Collaborate in PM meetings to ensure reports and action items are handled timely and proactively
  • Develop project schedules to structure timelines and deliverables efficiently meet project milestones.
  • Maintain ownership and accountability for overall project success
  • Translates design ideas into detailed models and high-quality renderings.
  • Provides mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering growth and skill development

Qualifications

  • Professional Degree (B. Arch or M. Arch)
  • 7+ years of work experience in the Architecture/Interior Design industry, particularly in high-end residential or hospitality design
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel periodically for projects outside the New York area
  • Exceptional knowledge of design development, construction documentation and technical detailing
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, design focused open environment
  • Experience in training and guiding junior staff on the design process
