Senior Designer

Salary range averaging between $85,000 - $95,000 annually

Our New York office is looking for a Senior Designer who will be an integral part of the design team, responsible for providing support in relation to experiential design and signage related projects.

• Design team leadership role in the, design development, detailing and implementation of signage, environmental graphics, identity, branding and print projects;
• Nurture a design focus and encourage a vibrant and enthusiastic design office;
• Meet with clients to assess project needs and lead client‑facing design presentations;
• Provide general assistance to senior design staff for the development of projects;
• Create and present design solution alternatives;
• Create way finding strategies, message schedules and signage location plans;
• Meet and communicate with clients, and suppliers to develop effective working partnerships;
• Meet with staff to develop project needs including budgeting, timing, and project expectations;
• Work with the design team in creating conceptual renderings, artwork, and graphic materials and design intent specifications;
• Provide necessary client liaison support throughout all stages of the project;
• Oversee projects to ensure compliance to defined goals and standards.

• Minimum college diploma in graphic design or a similar field;
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years professional experience; a portfolio that demonstrates experience with various aspects of signage design work is a plus;
• Previous experience in experiential graphic design, architecture, or industrial design firm setting;
• Knowledge of signage and way finding production techniques is an asset;
• Computer literacy and good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and Microsoft Office;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Initiative and desire to learn;
• Detail-oriented and ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced and constantly evolving environment;
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem‑solving skills.

We currently have a hybrid remote‑working scenario in effect, 3 days in the office and remaining days flex / work‑from‑home, but this is subject to change. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
