Job Description

Landscape Architecture Designer I (Entry Level) in the New York City Landscape Architecture + Urban Design Studio.

• Perform design work of landscape architecture studio at the direction and under the supervision of design leadership.
• Prepare materials for client and agency meetings.
• Perform basic landscape architecture calculations under the supervision of team leads.
• Preparing reports and related data tables.
• Preparing and editing drawings as required.
• Perform construction administration tasks at the direction and under the supervision of team leads.

• Minimum Requirements: B.A./B.S. in Landscape Architecture or related disciplines.
• Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of professional experience; experience generating exceptional two-dimensional and three-dimensional design graphics; experience preparing construction documents, reports, and publication documents; experience in production and digital rendering with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Rhino; ability to effectively manage time and self-edit work; experience creating compelling open space design, with an ability to develop the work through the technical design phase;
  
  excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skills; experience in Microstation, Grasshopper, Revit, ArcGIS, and other computer applications; strong knowledge/interest in plant materials, site design, grading, and multi-disciplinary collaboration.

• Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000.
