CAD Designer

Position

CAD Designer at Diamonds Direct. The position will be based at our DDNY location. The main function is to create 3D CAD designs from drawings or sketches for custom jewelry pieces.

• Create 3D CAD designs from drawings or sketches.
• Bring the customer’s dream to life and ensure their satisfaction with their custom piece.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple requests daily.

• Minimum five years of experience in jewelry CAD design.
• Two or more years of experience with custom jobs specifically with bridal jewelry, engagement rings, bands, and pendants.
• Ability to create curve bands for a customer engagement ring from scratch.
• Experience with Rhino, Matrix (Gold) and/or 3
  
  Design preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work well with a team of diverse personalities.
• Must be in person at our DDNY location.

• Minimum 5 years in CAD jewelry design.
• Knowledge of manufacturing standards.
• Preferred: experience with Rhino, Matrix (Gold), and/or 3
  
  Design.

• Base pay range $29.00-$38.50/hr.
