Designer Polo Men's Denim & Bottoms

Summary

Design and develop denim and woven bottoms for Men's Polo from concept through sales sample delivery and pre-production, collaborating with cross functional teams and adhering to calendar, quality, and cost requirements. Role focuses on research, concept creation, and execution of seasonal denim collections with attention to fit, wash, and construction details. Position operates within a hybrid corporate environment with regular in-office collaboration.

• Design and develop innovative quality sales samples and bulk denim product.
• Partner with concept, merchandising, wash, fabric, trim, technical design, and graphics teams to meet calendar and cost targets.
• Conduct vintage, market, online, and in-store research to inspire design and seasonal direction.
• Prepare design handoffs by gathering garments, fabric info, trims, fit references, and design work.
• Create seasonal denim deliveries aligned to line plans, costing guidance, and development timelines.
• Make timely design decisions on fit, styling, details, and wash to meet brand aesthetic and quality standards.
• Execute tech pack developments and ensure proper execution before handoff.
• Maintain organized digital and physical design work spaces, samples, and seasonal paginations on VibeIQ.
• Provide recaps of design meetings and direction on execution of sales sample details.

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in design with denim and ready to wear focus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe XD.
• Knowledge of hand sewing, embroidery, patch, and repair preferred.
• Ability to collaborate cross functionally and meet design calendar deadlines.>
• Attention to detail and quality execution for prototypes sales samples and production.
